    How it works

    Volume (cu ft) = length × width × (depth ÷ 12), plus waste. A 50 lb bag of self-leveling underlayment yields roughly 0.5 cu ft, so bags = volume ÷ 0.5, rounded up. Coverage per bag drops fast as the pour gets deeper.

    How much self-leveler do I need?

    It scales with area and depth: a 50 lb bag covers about 24 sq ft at ¼ in, but only about 12 sq ft at ½ in. Enter your floor size and target depth for a bag count.

    How thick can you pour self-leveling concrete?

    Most products pour from about ⅛ in up to 1 in in a single lift (some allow more with aggregate). Check the specific bag — deeper pours need more bags per square foot.

    How is coverage per bag calculated?

    Coverage = bag yield ÷ depth. At ¼ in a 0.5 cu ft bag covers ~24 sq ft; double the depth and coverage halves. The calculator shows the per-bag coverage at your chosen depth.
